Errors And Omissions Insurance For Home Inspectors How Does Errors & Omissions Insurance Work With Home Inspectors?

How does errors & Omissions Insurance work with home inspectors? - errors and omissions insurance for home inspectors

My inspector missed a big problem with my house. It has errors and omissions insurance. How it works, I have a lawyer? Or do I only have a claim asserted against him and decide on the insurance and pay for or not?

  1. I sat down with the chief inspector. He wants to see the problem myself, and then see where it goes. If before, then you should contact an attorney. Incidentally, you should expect the kind of denial of any wrong reaction. Your insurance company there.

  2. It is necessary to investigate a little more. As you know, there are always two sides of the story and insurance companies are in business to fight not only the payment of claims. Why do not you go to the forum and see what these people say.

  3. When you are dealing with an insurance company, a lawyer at his side is probably desirable. They know perfectly well that the insurer everything in their power to prevent or limit payments to you to do. Or will they offer to settle for less than they really needed to solve the problem.
